ALEPH: ALLIANCE FOR JEWISH RENEWAL

For details about ALEPH as well as ALEPH programs, please go the main ALEPH website at www.aleph.org.

ALEPH grew out of B'nai Or Religious Fellowship founded by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi in 1962. In 1978, B'nai Or was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and soon became known as P'nai Or. In 1993, it became known as ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal. ALEPH is a core institution in the Jewish Renewal movement.

Jewish Renewal is dedicated to the Jewish people's sacred purpose of partnership with the Divine in the inseparable tasks of tikkun olam and tikkun halev, healing the world and healing our hearts.
